Intended Use
Dengue NS1 Antigen Rapid Test Kit (Lateral chromatography) is designed for the early detection of dengue virus NS1 antigen in human serum, plasma, whole blood or fingertip whole blood. This test is for professional use only.
Test Principle
The kit is immunochromatographic and uses double-antibody sandwich method to detect Dengue NS1, It contains Colored spherical particles labeled NS1 monoclonal antibody 1 that is wrapped in conjugate pad,NS1 monoclonal antibody II that is fixed on the membrane, and quality-control line C that is coated with goat anti mouse IgG antibody, adopt the highly specific antigen-antibody reaction and lateral chromatography technology, qualitatively determine Dengue NS1 Antigen levels in human serum, plasma, whole blood or fingertip whole blood.

1. Remove an extraction tube from the kit and a test box from the film bag by tearing the notch. Put them on the horizontal plane.
2. Open the inspection card aluminum foil bag. Remove the test card and place it horizontally on a table.
1) for Fingertip Blood Specimen
Collect fingertip blood with safety lancet, add one drop (about 20μL) of blood with disposable pipette into the sample well on the test cassette.
2) for Serum, Plasma or Whole Blood Specimen
Use a disposable pipette, transfer 10μL serum (or plasma), or 20μL whole blood into the sample well on the test cassette.
3.Open the buffer tube by twisting off the top. Put 3~4 drops (about 90 -120 μL) of assay diluent into the sample well.
4. 15 mins later, read the results visually. (Note: do NOT read the results after 20 mins!)
1. Positive Result
If both the quality control C line and the detection T line appear, it indicates that the specimen contains detectable amount of NS1 antigen, and the result is positive for NS1 antigen.
2. Negative Result
If only the quality control C line appears and the detection T line does not show color, it indicates that there is no detectable NS1 antigen in the specimen.
3. Invalid Result
No visible colored band appears at control line after performing the test. Insufficient sample volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for control line failure. Review the test procedure and repeat the test using a new test device.
